What we’re looking for
We are looking for a senior level backend software developer to join our Core Platform Team. The position involves working on platform features of our application involving multiple end user types. We mainly use Python 3 & Django on the backend today, but we’re looking for someone with proficient experience in a modern web framework.
Responsibilities
- Understand user & product requirements
- Participate in building & architecting product features & fixes
- Work with a cross functional team to deliver solutions for our internal & external end-users
- Help debug production issues
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with software development
- 3+ years experience in Python & Django (for this specific position we’re requiring Django experience)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience working with production systems & deployments
- Understanding of industry security practices
