What we’re looking for

Responsibilities

• Work on a team of interns to develop automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Workflow & Platform engineers.
• Gain familiarity with the SimpleCitizen automation process.
• Write, test, & refactor Puppeteer scripts.
• Solve challenging technical problems.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to developing the SimpleCitizen web application & documentation.
• Availability to work in our Salt Lake City office about 18 hours per week during the summer (until Aug 12, 2022).

Qualifications & Skills

• Interest in web development or automation.
• Effective teamwork & communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript required, experience with Python preferred.
• Some familiarity with git.
• Some familiarity with HTML & CSS.
• Some experience working in Linux or MacOS.
• Alignment with SimpleCitizen’s mission & values.
• Currently working on a college degree.
