What we’re looking for

Responsibilities

• Edit and create engaging video content for every social platform, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Edit episodes for YouTube, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and creativity
• Work closely with the Rooting in America production team to understand the project’s goals and vision
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all video content is aligned with the brand’s tone and voice
• Use your creativity and technical skills to make sure all video content looks and sounds amazing
• Work with other video editors to maintain consistency across all video content

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and creativity
• Expertise in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction well
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
