What we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly skilled & motivated Workflow Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing & driving the successful implementation of new workflow projects, leading multiple teams from design to deployment. Your expertise in complex architecture development & your ability to effectively communicate with both technical & non-technical stakeholders will be crucial. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with product teams to understand requirements & translate them into functional specifications. Your strong leadership capabilities will be essential as you support & mentor team members, evaluate performance, & contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary ranges from $107,100 - $133,875 per year. Responsibilities

  • Own projects & manage multiple teams through design, implementation, testing & deployment of new workflow projects that solve conceptual problems & produce efficient, stable & standardized solutions with tight deadline requirements
  • Lead activities to develop, document, & maintain complex architectures, requirements, & designs for workflows
  • Work with other platform engineers to identify & prioritize application architecture concerns that can provide the most business value & allow the product scalability
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to gain familiarity with a variety of immigration requirements & processes around the world to be able to implement standard processes in the system
  • Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience & vice versa
  • Use strong communication skills (written & verbal) to work closely with the product team to understand requirements & create draft of functionality specifications needed for workflow in the platform
  • Assist with new employee onboarding & training program & support team members so that they grow & strengthen their capabilities
  • Organize team roles & evaluate employee performance & perform employee reviews/assessments
  • Support different teams to understand workflow functionality & risks with new platform features, update of current features & integrations with other systems
  • Define & evolve development standards, guidelines, procedures, processes, & metrics
  • Create & maintain the configuration tools & frameworks used by the workflow engineering team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of professional experience performing business analytics & process design to deliver technology solutions using Agile software development methodologies
  • 2 years of professional experience writing schema, markup, & flow logic for automated processes
  • 2 years of professional experience utilizing RESTful APIs, XML, & HTML
  • 2 years of professional experience performing software programming using Python & Django
  • 2 years of professional experience leading & performing system integration (including APIs)
  • 1 year of professional experience leading & managing a team
  • 1 year of professional experience testing & documenting user stories
